Roxane Roth

Roxane is Women Refugee Route’s Head of Communications and co-chairs the Trainings Team

Roxane joined WRR in 2016 and has since then taken care of the organisation’s communication, including the maintenance of social media channels and the development of the website.

Together with Karla, Roxane is co-head of the trainings team, focussing on the planning and logistics of upcoming trainings, but also the review and development of content and training concepts.

Roxane is living in Brussels and has been working as a Project and Events manager for different  local NGOs for the past three years. Before being an intern in the European Parliament in 2014, Roxane completed her Masters degree in European Studies at Maastricht University.

In her free time, Roxane is active with the German Young Social Democrats Brussels (JUSOS) and is co-heading their gender equality cluster. In this role she is advocating for wage and pension equality, equal access to services and information, sexual and reproductive healthcare/-rights and the general promotion of more women in positions of power and decision making.
