Lorena Torres

Lorena is our expert for creative advocacy and supports the communications team with her profound knowledge in campaigns and communication.

With roots in Ecuador, Lorena is a cultural catalyst, social entrepreneur and a humanitarian, which is seen in various engagements around the world. From working with children and the arts in the Andean Cloud forests, engaging with youth and new media in the Middle East, to engaging critically with art to voice political & societal challenges in Denmark.

Furthermore, she is an experienced project manager, campaigner, visual communicator and photographer. She has been involved with several NGO’s, among others, with Norwegian People’s Aid, CAMP/Centre for Arts on Migration Politics, IRCT and Crossing Borders. Lorena has also worked with the Ministry of Education in Ecuador.

Languages: Fluent Spanish, German, English and Danish. Basic Arabic, French and Italian.
