Aurélie Notebaert

Aurélie joined WRR in 2017 and is mainly in charge of mainstreaming gender and diversity to WRR’s policy analysis, policy advise and advocacy. As part of the advocacy team, she helps organising events and trainings. Her role is mainly to help the core coordinating team and to provide expertise when necessary. As a gender and EU affairs specialist she can answer any request concerning those fields of WRR work.
Aurélie has a bachelor degree in Political Science, a Master in Gender and Diversity and another Master in European Politics and Policies. She specialized in gender mainstreaming and has been a trainee in several public administrations (Belgian and EU level). Additionally, she has been an activist for women’s rights for many years and founded in collaboration with a friend, her own pressure group for gender equality in Belgium. She is currently working as project coordinator in a consultancy that advises public services. Both in her private and professional life, Aurélie is eager to fight for equality.
